01/02/10 - Luluc Farewell Show & Party


After the success of Luluc's 2009 tour of Canada and the US, Zoe and Steve are packing their bags and preparing to move across the seas to the USA. Leaving two days after the show, Luluc's first stop is Memphis, to play a string of shows at the International Folk Alliance. The pair will then settle in New York to finish writing their sophomore album, before heading off again on the Canadian folk festival circuit. Please join us for a farewell on Thursday February 11, with a party and show at the Christmas Street Warehouse. Luluc will be joined by Nick Huggins and Houlette. Expect to hear Luluc perform songs form Dear Hamlyn and a few new treats. We are happy to announce a string of Australian tour dates following Luluc's return from a tour of the US and Canada. The tour is to celebrate Luluc's homecoming and will be their final headlining tour before relocating to the US in 2010. Tickets for all shows are available now.

Calgary Folk Festival have announced the 2009 line-up, with The Decemberists, Akron/Family, Gomez, Jolie Holland, Iron and Wine, Loreena McKennitt and Mirah. Luluc are in very good company.
